Dark silhouettes of tiered pagoda temple roofs and spires against a hazy low sun, Patan Durbar Square

Temple roofs at sunset, Patan

Tiered temple roofs stand dark against the setting sun in Patan.

The stacked roofs and pointed spires of pagoda-style temples show as black shapes against a hazy sky, with the low sun glowing between them. A few trees, including a palm, fill the gaps below the roofline. The temples are in Patan Durbar Square, Lalitpur.
