Ladybug on a fern, Nepal

A red ladybug rests where fern fronds cross.

A red ladybug with black spots rests on a green fern frond, seen from above. The leaflets repeat in a pattern across the frame, and the dark green background lets the small red body stand out. The light is soft and the focus is shallow, a close look at a tiny detail from a hike in Nepal.
