Krishna Mandir, in Patan Durbar Square, is a stone temple built in tiers, with carved arches on each level, small gold-topped towers and a tall curved spire. A few women sit in red and pink at its base, and birds cross the pale evening sky. The low light turns the old stone a warm brown.
