Harry Hayman
A rebuilt personal site and a 336-article blog, on a light editorial design.

The problem
Harry’s ventures and years of writing needed one home that is easy to browse and easy to update.
What I built
- A redesign with a new home page, a Ventures page and an About timeline, on a light editorial design system.
- A blog of 336 articles with a lead story, recent pieces and a yearly archive, edited in Keystatic.
- Search work: unique titles and descriptions, structured data, a share image for every post, and redirects for old links.

About Harry Hayman
Harry Hayman is a Philadelphia entrepreneur, jazz advocate and philanthropist. His site brings together his ventures in hospitality, food and jazz, and a blog he has kept since 2020.
I have worked on the site since March 2025, starting from an open-source template. In August 2026 I redesigned it around a light, editorial look, with a new home page, a Ventures page, an About timeline and a contact page with direct details. The blog went from one very long list of cards to a lead story, recent pieces and a yearly archive, and it now holds 336 articles.
I also did the search work: unique titles and descriptions, structured data for Harry, his organisations and every post, a share image for each article, and redirects for old links. Fonts now weigh about a quarter of what they did. Articles are edited in Keystatic, and the site runs on Astro and Tailwind CSS on Netlify.
